Why Choose Boat Storage in Arkansas?

Boating season in Arkansas doesn't run all year. Once the water cools off, a boat on a trailer takes over the driveway. Plenty of neighborhoods won't allow it out front, and a side yard leaves the hull sitting in sun, hail, and falling limbs. Boat storage gives your boat somewhere to wait for spring.

You also get a choice of how it sits. Covered parking at Avery Ln in Bryant and Pine Ridge Rd in Pottsville keeps weather off the hull and cover. Indoor vehicle parking at I-30 Frontage Rd and Pine Ridge Rd puts four walls and a roof around it. Baseline Rd in Little Rock has enclosed drive-up units with electricity, so you can run a battery tender while the boat sits. Maumelle Blvd in North Little Rock and Carl Moren Rd in Hensley offer open-air parking for owners who just need the trailer off the street.

Every one of these locations is fenced and gated, and you open the gate with a code that belongs to you. Four of the six give you 24-hour access, so you can hitch up before sunrise and be on the water by the time the ramp fills. Those are Avery Ln and I-30 Frontage Rd in Bryant, Baseline Rd in Little Rock, and Maumelle Blvd in North Little Rock. Pine Ridge Rd is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and each facility page lists its own hours. Sizes and clearances vary by location, so open the facility page nearest you, or call and we'll walk you through it.

What You Can Park

What to Keep in Boat Storage in Arkansas

Our boat storage locations take vessels on trailers, along with the trailer and gear that travel with them. Space and clearance differ by location, so call the one you're closest to before you book.

Bass and fishing boats

Park your rig on its trailer between trips and keep the rods, nets, and tackle with it. Pick a location with 24-hour access if you fish early.

Pontoon boats

Pontoons take up more width than most trailers. Our open-air and covered parking spaces suit them better than a home driveway does.

Ski and wakeboard boats

Towers, wraps, and upholstery all fade in Arkansas sun. Covered and indoor options give the boat a roof through the off-season.

Personal watercraft

Single and double trailers both fit. Keep the jet skis, life jackets, and tow ropes together instead of spread across the garage.

Sailboats and day sailers

Trailerable sailboats fit our parking spaces with the mast down. Check clearance with the facility before you arrive.

Boat trailers and gear

Store an empty trailer on its own, or keep covers, anchors, and cleaning supplies with the boat. Baseline Rd units include electricity.

Who Uses Boat Storage in Arkansas?

Most of our boat storage customers came to us for the same reason. The boat had nowhere good to sit. Owners under HOA rules use a gated spot because plenty of neighborhoods don't allow a boat or trailer parked out front, and a storage space keeps them in good standing with the board. Off-season storage is the other common one. Once the water cools off, the boat sits for months, and a covered or indoor space gets the driveway back until spring.

Anglers who fish year-round pick a location with 24-hour access so they can hitch up in the dark without waiting on an office to open. Short-driveway households come to us when a boat and two cars simply don't fit, and something has to move that isn't the car they drive every day. Owners in the middle of a move store a boat while they sell, renovate, or rent, and new boat owners often call after buying the boat and realizing there's nowhere at home to keep it.

You'll find boat storage in Bryant, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Hensley, and Pottsville. Every one of those properties is fenced and gated with coded entry, and you can rent and pay online rather than making a trip to the office.

Prepare for Storage

How to Prepare Your Boat for Storage

Wash the hull, deck, and trailer, then let everything dry all the way before you cover it.

Drain the bilge, livewells, and any plumbing so no water sits in the boat over winter.

Fill the fuel tank and add stabilizer, since a full tank leaves less room for condensation.

Flush and run the engine, change the oil, and fog the cylinders if the boat will sit for months.

Pull the battery, or keep it on a tender at a location where power is available.

Take out electronics, life jackets, cushions, and anything else that holds moisture.

Fit a breathable cover rather than a plastic tarp, which traps damp against the hull.

Check your trailer tires, lights, and straps before you tow the boat over.
