Throw out or donate what you won't want in August rather than paying to store it.
Use clear plastic bins instead of cardboard, so you can see what's in them without opening every one.
Empty, defrost, and dry the mini fridge a day ahead, then prop the door open before it goes in.
Back up your laptop, then pad electronics well and keep them in a climate-controlled unit.
